Stellaris Overlord is the 6th major expansion for the 4X strategy game Stellaris it grants players access to a slew of new features designed to unlock new ways for Empires to interact with each other in the galaxy, are you going to guide your subjects to glory or subjugate them? New Vassalization mechanics lets you define the role of your new subjects or the role you want to take for your new overlords. Build magnificent new megastructures that will help you project your powers further, and faster.

• Create specialist vassal empires to help grow your economic (Prospectorium), military (bulwark), and technological needs (Scholarium). Negotiate or demand contracts and agreements between your vassals to define the future of dozens of worlds and reap the benefits.
• New types of enclaves for you to discover: the mysterious Shroudwalkers will provide you with insights into the shroud for a price, the peaceful Scavengers will buy and sell you scrap which might hold secret technologies for you to discover, and the militaristic mercenaries that you can found yourself which can provide you with some extra military might for a price.
• Five new origins for you to play with:
  • Imperial Fiefdom: You start as a vassal of a much stronger empire you must choose your specialization and serve under them; will you find common ground or overthrow them and break your chains.
  • Slingshot to the stars: If your civilization discovers a quantum catapult in your home system will you be able to discover all its secrets?
  • Subterranean – Your species are accustomed to living underground as a result your species are experts at mining, and archeology what awaits your species above the surface?
  • Teachers of the shroud – Your species has developed through the guidance of the psionic enclave known as the Shroudwalkers making your species adept at expanding their minds.
  • Progenitor Hive – Entrust the leadership of the hive to select a few offspring with their independent mind your hive might achieve more than ever before.
